The Pune-based DYPDC Centre for Automotive Research and Studies (DYPDC) is inviting applications for its full time three- year undergraduate programme and two year-post graduate programme in Automotive Design.
Combined initiative
DYPDC was established last year as a combined initiative between DY Patil group, and Dilip Chhabria, a car designer with more than 650 designs currently on the road, a press release from DYPDC said on Saturday.
The course is divided in trimesters and at the end of each trimester students have to apply newly acquired skills in designing new models.
The school, mentored by Mr. Chhabria has good academic and workshop facilities and experienced faculty.
Visiting faculty
DYPDC also has a visiting faculty programme through which the school has invited professionals and educators from institutions such as Politecnico di Milano, Hanbat University, Tu Delft, Braunschweig University of Art, Northern Illinois University and Center for Creative Studies (CCS), the press release said.
The admissions to the programmes are based on the individual's portfolio and a personal interview.
