DTU Admissions 2011 Online

Delhi Technical University which is otherwise called as Delhi College of Engineering is going to start its Admission Procedure for the Academic Year 2011-12 from June 7th 2011. Vice Chancellor P.B. Sharma DTU Admission procedure has been divided into three stages and the DTU Admissions will be completed by July 26th. Classes for the New Academic Year 2011-12 will begins from August 2nd .

DTU Vice Chancellor P.B. Sharma said that Admissions will be based totally on Online system. Manual Process of DTU Admissions will not be there. Aspirants should only Register and participate in online Registration Process. DTU admissions will be done on the basis of the rank obtained in AIEEE-2011 and subject to a student clearing his/ her class XII or BSc (General) or BSc (H)examination with minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. A candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study.

DTU First phase Admissions : DTU First phase Admissions stats form June 7th to June 15th . Aspirants should Register online and they have to pay the Application Fee. User id and Password will be allotted to students who have paid their Application Fee.

DTU Second Phase Admissions : DTU First phase Admissions stats form June 23rd to June 29th Eligible students will be allowed to select their Subjects. They can also change their choice till June 29th.

DTU Final Phase Admissions : DTU Final Phase is allotment of seats for the Aspirants. Final list of students who are eligible will be kept in DTU official Website in the First week of July. Short listed students should submit their documents, Fee and can secure their admission during the allotted day.

At the undergraduate level, DTU offers 15 BTech programs with a total intake of 1,188 seats of which 85% seats are reserved for candidates from Delhi. The university will reserve one seat in each of the BTech programs over the sanctioned intake, for a single girl child in the family to be filled on merit.
