In this regard they invited on line applications for the post of Executive Trainees under various segment. Details about the posts and their relevant qualifications are showing below.

NTPC invites applications for Executive trainees in various disciplines

1.Electrical – 145 (UR-71, OBC-48, SC-20, ST-6)
2.Mechanical – 175(UR-76, OBC-61, SC-23, ST-15)
3.CIVIL – 60 (UR-17, OBC-30, SC-7, ST-6)
4.Control and Instrumentation – 100 (UR-46, OBC-32, SC-13, ST-9)
5.Finance – 40 (UR-6, OBC-14, SC-8, ST-12)

Qualification:

Engineering Executive: B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Control & Instrumentation, Finance) with 65% marks.

Finance Executive: CA / ICWA

Selection Procedure:On the basis of All india level Examination

Written Examination Date: 17th April, 2011

Pay-Scale – Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.24900-50500/- during training period. The training period will be for one year.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/-

Last Date of Online Application: 07.03.2011

Last Date of Off line Application: 12th March 2011
